"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

My name is Adrian, often known online as Vanguard3000. I live in Ottawa, Canada, am in my mid-twenties, and sell suits for a living. I enjoy reading, writing, video gaming,classical history, science-fiction, walking in the rain, beef, bloody caesars, and sleep. I've been told that I'm funny, though I've seen no evidence of this myself.
I've always been interested in all aspects of game design, and have learned some basic programming languages in high school, but have only recently really started playing around with 3D modeling, and have found it's quite enjoyable, although frustrating at times.
One thing I've learned about DeviantArt is that people can't get enough of seeing a ring's heart-shaped shadow on a book. I find this strange.
I'm also learning to play guitar. It's not going smoothly.
